For Ben, one of the highlights of 2025-2026 was attending a concert by his favourite music artist and meeting them in person.   

For Ben, one of the highlights of 2025-26 was attending a concert by his favourite music artist. With support from his Client Account Manager and care team, Ben not only attended the concert but also took part in a special meet-and-greet with the performer. Meeting his long-time idol was an experience he described as one of the highlights of his year. 

Ben lives with a disability and has been supported through administration for many years. He enjoys a stable and fulfilling life with the support of a dedicated care team and housemates he considers family. 

Known for his love of fishing, playing guitar and country music, Ben is always eager to share his achievements and interests with those around him. His support network works closely together to help him pursue the activities and experiences that bring him joy. 

Experiences such as attending concerts, pursuing hobbies and achieving personal goals are an important part of living a meaningful life. By understanding what matters most to clients and supporting them to achieve their aspirations, the Public Trustee helps create opportunities that build confidence, connection and wellbeing. 

For Ben, meeting his musical hero was more than just a day out. It was a memorable experience that brought lasting joy and demonstrated the positive impact of putting clients’ goals and interests at the centre of decision-making.
