Connecting generations and planning ahead: Food for thought

This Seniors Week we celebrate the connection we create across generations through food. Cooking for loved ones, sharing recipes, and getting together over communal meals are all acts of love and care.

You can also care for your loved ones by documenting your wishes and creating an estate plan. You can think of it as your estate planning recipe – your loved ones guide to knowing what you want during the hardest times.

The Public Trustee and Office of the Public Guardian are hosting seminars across Tasmania this Seniors Week – Food for Thought: your estate planning recipe. Come along and hear about important documents, like a Will, Enduring Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship and Advance Care Directive.

Read on to find out how other Tasmanians have shared their love of food and created a plan to document their wishes. Recipes included!
