Seniors Month shines a spotlight on the importance of planning ahead

Public Trustee Tasmania was featured on 7NEWS Tasmania, highlighting the importance of planning ahead and having key legal documents in place.

Around half of Tasmanians pass away without a valid Will, making it more important than ever to ensure your wishes are documented and your loved ones are supported.

As part of Seniors Month, Public Trustee CEO Todd Kennedy joined Attorney-General Guy Barnett and COTA Tasmania CEO Brigid Wilkinson to encourage Tasmanians to review their Will, Enduring Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship and other important legal documents.

We’re proud to be working with COTA Tasmania during Seniors Month to help Tasmanians understand their options through free information sessions and practical guidance on Wills and estate planning. Whether you’re preparing these documents for the first time or reviewing existing arrangements, we’re here to help you make informed decisions about your future.
