Best Practice framework to align with the new Guardianship and Administration Amendment Act 2023:
The Public Trustee collaborated with Australia’s leading experts in the field to develop a best practice framework to comply with the new legislative requirements. Transforming the Public Trustee
In 2023 we prioritised client-focused initiatives. We’ve implemented 26 of 28 recommendations from the Independent Review. A major recruitment drive significantly reduced client caseloads improving accessibility and responsiveness with positive results noted in our FY23 client experience surveys. Community engagement was a major focus with numerous educational sessions provided throughout the year. We developed and launched our Supported Decision-Making Guidelines which is an important step toward improving the lives of our clients with impaired decision-making whom we support.
