Minister opens the new Public Trustees office

In a strong show of investment and confidence in the northern Tasmanian community, the Public Trustee has expanded their northern presence by opening a new office in Launceston.

The Public Trustee’s new Launceston office signifies their investment in expanding its northern presence and reflects their transformational journey to delivering efficient services that are accessible and provide value for money in a respectful client focussed manner.

Public Trustee CEO David Benbow said the organisation saw the north as a real growth opportunity for the organisation.

“With the demand for our Will and estate planning services increasing and our commitment to improving our state-wide distribution strategy, we needed a northern longer-term contemporary office to continue to service clients in Launceston and the surrounding areas,” Mr Benbow said.

“Increased demand in the north has now led to expanding our Launceston workforce, and providing a more structured career path for our Launceston staff.

“The expansion follows a strategic restructure of our service delivery teams, which created a specialist Launceston based team to provide estate and enduring power of attorney administration services.”

The Public Trustee’s new Launceston office is located in the MAIB Building, 33 George Street, Launceston and was officially opened by the Honourable Elise Archer on the 25th of July 2019.
